UKCS regional aquifers - well penetration

Stratigraphic interpretation carried out on behalf of the NSTA by Lloyd's Register, as part of a comprehensive, multi-year, regional-scale evaluation of reservoir presence across the UKCS. The interpretation supported the production of regional geological maps published by the NSTA. The dataset includes the interpreted status of key geological intervals at each well location. Status categories are: Present — the target unit was encountered in the well; Absent — the well is interpreted to have penetrated through the target unit's expected stratigraphic position into older units, indicating the target is not present at that location; Not Penetrated — the well was terminated in a stratigraphically younger unit.
